It hurts to lose someone. Find help and community with GriefShare, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. We are here for you.

The Village's GriefShare group meets weekly to walk through the grieving process together, and anyone is welcome, no matter how recent your loss. We hope that you will join us for our next meeting!

Loss of a Spouse Brunch

Join the GriefShare community for our annual Loss of a Spouse Brunch. This special section of our community knows deeply the pain that comes alongside losing your other half. Hear a special testimony about someones healing journey, and find support within small discussion groups as you seek together to find God's mighty plan for you to move forward in healing.  Share and remember special moments with your loved one and enjoy a delicious brunch prepared specifically for this moment. 

Surviving the holidays Brunch

Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed and that happy memories from past years can’t be recreated? Our Surviving the Holidays seminar is especially for people who are grieving a loved one’s death. 

  • How to deal with the many emotions you’ll face during the holidays
  • What to do about traditions and other coming changes
  • Helpful tips for surviving social events
  • How to discover hope for your future


Nancy has been a faithful volunteer with GriefShare at The Village since 2008 and is passionate about helping others find community during their healing process. Nancy lost her 24 year old son and 10 year old grandson, and has experienced firsthand the pain of loss and the sweetness of God’s comfort.
