This is our heartbeat for The Village Youth. At its core, this is what we desire to be about. Our main focus in life is to love God and grow in our relationship with Him. God is for people, He loves people, and He desires to be in relationship with people. Since our God is for this, we should be also. We desire that every student that enters into The Village Youth radically encounters the love of God and because of it, radically love people the way God loves us.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Sunday mornings at our McPherson Campus, The Village Youth gathers at 9:30a in the Fellowship Hall. With a fun ice breaker, teaching in large group, and small group discussion, students will be challenged to go deeper in their walk with Christ, to develop friendships that point to Jesus, and to dig into the Word of God.
Our groups are currently split up into Middle School Girls, High School Girls, Middle School Boys & High School Boys!

SHIFT: TVY ANNUAL IN-TOWN WEEKEND RETREAT
Every fall, The Village Youth gather for an in-town weekend retreat, similar in structure to Disciple Now (or D-Now) weekends. This will be a weekend full of fun, interactive and inclusive games, biblical teaching, small-group discipleship and awesome fellowship with the rest of The Village Youth! The majority of the event will take place at our McPherson campus, but students will be staying at host home with students of the same gender and general age as well as at least two leaders. We are so excited for SHIFT this year, and can't wait to see how the Lord uses it for His good!

The Village Youth is taking 6th-12th graders (grade enrolled for the 22-23 school year) to Shocco Springs retreat center for a week of worship, fellowship, and fun in the sun. Student has been around for years, and we are excited to attend their Rec Camp and experience what God has in store for our students. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up ASAP!

Every summer, TVY takes the gospel out into the nation for a week long Mission Trip. These trips can involve anything from singing to manual labor to door-to-door evangelism. It's an incredible opportunity to put into practice everything we have been learning over the past year.
This year we will be partnering with SEND Relief (a branch of the North American Mission Board) to serve in the city and share the hope of Christ! Scholarship and Fundraising opportunities are available. Spots are limited so sign up quickly or join the waitlist!

Raising Teens Support Group
Parenting is not for the faint of heart, and raising teens seems to make this reality even truer. Emotional ups and downs, often within the same hour, are a daily occurrence. Sometimes, you feel more like a taxi than a parent, shuttling kids around to extracurriculars, social events, and school demands. And then there’s technology. The world has changed so much. How do you navigate this? You are not alone.
